Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your skills in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data modeling to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions using advanced analytics and predictive modeling techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data patterns, detect anomalies, and identify trends.
- Develop and implement machine learning models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time-series forecasting) to solve business problems.
- Train, validate, and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
- Continuously evaluate and fine-tune models for optimal performance and accuracy. Apply statistical techniques to analyze datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Perform hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and other experimental methodologies to validate assumptions and measure impact. Create compelling and interactive data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib to communicate insights effectively.
- Develop reports and dashboards that translate complex data findings into actionable business insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other teams to define key metrics, requirements, and goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement data science solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science methodologies.
- Continuously improve data science workflows, algorithms, and techniques to solve business challenges more efficiently.
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role with expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or SQL.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis using Pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying models and managing large-scale datasets.
Educational Background:
- A degree in Data Science, Computer Science,
Certifications (Preferred):
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Scientist (CDS), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, or other machine learning/data science-related certifications.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive) for processing large datasets.
- Knowledge of deep learning and artificial intelligence techniques.
