Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to create effective automation frameworks and improve testing efficiency across the SDLC.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress).
- Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and efficient test automation frameworks.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, and performance tests for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Execute automated tests across multiple platforms and environments, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Analyze and document test results, identifying issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks.
- Continuously improve automation processes and frameworks to optimize test execution speed and reliability.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and faster delivery.
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in test automation and software testing, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing test scripts.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for developing automation scripts.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) for integrating automated tests into the development pipeline.
- Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
