ServiceNow Developer

Job Description:  We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements. You will work closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to implement and customize ServiceNow applications, focusing on automation, workflow management, and IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and configure custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform, including incident, problem, change, and request management processes.
  • Customize ServiceNow forms, tables, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts to meet business needs.
  • Develop ServiceNow workflows, automation, and integrations with third-party applications
  • Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and integration connectors.
  • Work with external systems (e.g., LDAP, SSO, Active Directory) to ensure smooth integration and data flow between ServiceNow and other platforms.

Implement out-of-box ServiceNow modules and customize them to align with business processes.

  • Set up and configure ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and other ServiceNow modules according to best practices.
  • Configure reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide actionable insights into IT operations.

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience developing and customizing applications on the ServiceNow
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management) and other ServiceNow modules.
  • Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, and other web development technologies for ServiceNow customization.
  • Familiarity with REST, SOAP web services, and integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications and databases.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow APIs, Business Rules, Workflows, and UI Actions

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications (Preferred):

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or other relevant ServiceNow certifications.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Service Portal, or Orchestration.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM, ITBM, or Security Incident Response modules.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
